During the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 5 air strikes and 27 missile strikes, over 50 strikes were carried out by rocket salvo systems. Civil infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Nikolaev and Odesa regions were damaged by missile strikes, and the Defense Forces downed 4 cruise missiles, 2 guided air missiles and 5 Shahed-136 UAVs.
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is concentrating its efforts to limit the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions and continues to equip the defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnieper, conducts offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Novopavlovsk directions and constantly conducts aerial reconnaissance.
The defense forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Novoselyvske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast and Bilogorovka, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Vodiane and Novomihailovka in Donetsk Oblast.
According to intelligence data in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, the Russians have begun to actively recruit workers from industrial enterprises in the Wagner industrial complex. Thus, according to the agreement with the management of the electrometallurgical plant in Oskol, the workers of enlistment age will be included in military training at the “Vagneriv” base for a period of 30 days with retention of wages. It is envisaged that the meetings will be held in groups of 25% of the employees of the specified category from the plant. After the meeting, the officials will be offered to enter into a contract with a private military company.
“In connection with the significant losses of personnel and the insufficient number of medical personnel in the divisions of the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region, by order of the so-called “Ministry of Health”, the employees of the medical facilities in the region were obliged to switch to military accountability to fill the vacant posts”reported by the General Staff.
It is noted that during the past 24 hours missile and artillery units of the Defense Forces hit 4 control points, 22 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 6 ammunition depots and 4 other important objects of the occupiers.
According to the General Staff, the enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Liman and Avdiiv directions.
The operational command “South” added that the occupation troops continue the forced evacuation of the population of Ukraine and the removal of property from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region. In particular, the occupiers forcibly evicted the population from Novokievka. And in Novaya Kakhovka, the central city hospital stopped working — all medical equipment and ambulances were taken to the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimean Autonomous Republic.
“The occupiers are shelling the right bank with rocket launchers, mortars and heavy artillery. Chernobayevka, Antonovka and Kherson itself are kept under fire. As a result of one of the shelling of the regional center, a local resident died from shrapnel wounds. The windows of a tall building were also damaged near the impact of the mortar shell.”the message says.
Earlier, the General Staff reported that the enemy continues to recruit prisoners into the army and strengthens its group in occupied Mariupol.
