A well-known Ukrainian politician, member of parliament for several terms, Yury Karmazin, has died. He was 66 years old.
The death of the former MP was announced by the head of the Odesa regional council Vitaly Barvinenko.
“Yuri Karmazin is gone. Worked with him from 2007 to 2012. For many, it was uncomfortable, original, but definitely bright. REST IN PEACE”the statement said.
The death of the politician was confirmed by his family.
“A legendary man has died. Today at 10:00 a.m. the heart of Yury Anatolyovich Karmazin, a loving father, husband, man who put his soul into the future of the country, but his heart always belonged only to his family, stopped beating. The politician of his time was a people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the II, III, IV and VI convocations. He was a member of the factions “Community”, “Solidarity”, “Our Ukraine”, “Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense”.
