On the morning of October 22, the Russian occupiers organized a massive shelling on the territory of Ukraine, directing deadly missiles at critical infrastructure sites in various regions of the country.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The result of the work of the Ukrainian air defense was the elimination of 18 enemy cruise missiles.

It is noted that the enemy attacked Ukraine with no less than 10 strategic Tu-160 and Tu-95 aircraft. The terrorists used aviation from the Volgodon region of the Rostov region — Russian planes fired 17 Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles over the territory of Ukraine.

In addition, Putin’s terrorists attacked our country from ships in the Black Sea with Kalibr cruise missiles. The enemy launched 16 launches from the sea.

In the areas of responsibility of the Air Command “South”, Air Command “Center”, Air Command “West” of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups managed to destroy 18 enemy cruise missiles.

The defenders of the country liquidated 13 X-101/X-555 missiles and 5 “Caliber” cruise missiles.

We will recall that on the morning of October 22, an air alert was declared over almost the entire territory of Ukraine. Subsequently, residents of many regions began to report explosions. Attacks against energy facilities in Rivne and Kirovograd regions have been confirmed. Part of Lutsk turned out to be without electricity.
