“There can be no other explanation”: Zelensky reacted to the version of the fall of the Ukrainian rocket on the territory of Poland

Other versions about the fall of missiles on the territory of Poland also began to appear in the press.

In particular, the Reuters agency, citing sources in the North Atlantic Alliance, noted that US President Joe Biden informed the leaders of the G7 and NATO allies that a Ukrainian missile had fallen in Poland. The Russians, of course, expressed the same opinion.

However, as reported by the BBC, Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the office of the president of Ukraine, noted that only Russia is responsible for the war.

“It is still not known exactly where the rocket came from that fell in Poland on Tuesday night and killed two people. It is highly doubtful that it was fired by the Russians: perhaps it was a Ukrainian air defense missile trying to intercept Russian bombing. However, Moscow is responsible for this tragedy in any case.”he noted and added: “Intentions, means of execution, risks, escalation – all this is only Russia. And there can be no other explanation for any rocket excesses. Because when an aggressor country carries out a deliberate massive missile attack on the entire territory of a large country on the European continent with its outdated Soviet weapons (class X missiles), the tragedy sooner or later also happens on the territories of other countries.”

According to him, it makes no sense to avoid this simple logic: only Russia is guilty of threats and excesses in other countries with its missile attacks. Mykhailo Podoliak called on Western countries to finally “close the sky” over Ukraine.

“There is no need to look for excuses and postpone key decisions. It’s time for Europe to close the skies over Ukraine. Including for her own safety”he added.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte also spoke about Russia’s role.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also spoke about Russian aggression, who noted that it doesn’t matter whose missile landed in the Republic of Poland – Russia is to blame for the attack on Ukraine.

Meanwhile, “Polish Radio” reports on the results of the summoning of the Russian ambassador to Poland, Sergey Andreev, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. According to the words the spokesman of the ministry Lukash Yassinthe Russian diplomat appeared at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs around midnight, the meeting lasted only four minutes, passed “without an exchange of pleasantries”: “He was received without any courtesies, Minister Zbigniew Rau and the delegation that accompanied him did not shake hands with him… The ambassador took our position into consideration and left the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was a very short and quick visit. We await the further development of the situation”. The ministry cited two reasons for summoning the Russian ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: rocket explosions on Polish territory and another massive shelling of the entire territory of Ukraine and its critical infrastructure for many hours

We will recall that on November 15, when the Russians carried out a massive missile attack, two missiles were recorded falling in the Polish village of Przewodow, which is located 5 km from the border with Ukraine.
