‘There are still enough people, but…’: Defense Ministry says whether further mobilization will be announced in Ukraine

In Ukraine, where the Verkhovna Rada registered a presidential decree on the extension of martial law and general mobilization, there are currently enough people in the ranks of the Defense Forces, but in the event of a change in the situation at the front, additional mobilization may take place.

She told this herself on the air of the national telethon Deputy Minister of Defense Hana Mallyarthe Informant reports.

According to her, the introduction of an additional wave of mobilization is currently not foreseen. “We should all be aware that there is a war going on in the country. We can accept different scenarios for the development of events, and you and I should, in principle, be ready for the development of all these scenarios”she added.

We remind you that the Parliament recently passed a decision on the rules for the reservation of the conscription service. In particular, we are talking about conscripts in the bodies of state power and local self-government, when it is necessary to ensure the functioning of these bodies; in enterprises, institutions and organizations that produce goods, perform works and provide defense services to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as in enterprises that are critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population.
