“The withdrawal of the troops from Kherson is a humiliation for the Russians” – the general

The fact that the Russian occupation army was forced to leave Kherson, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had already visited on November 14, is a humiliation for Russians.

This was stated by the Polish general, former inspector of the army of the High Command of the Armed Forces Janusz Bronowicz on the air of RMF24.

According to him, this is a turning point for the Russian Federation, which may even cost Vladimir Putin power, for example, in favor of one of the “hard” figures such as PMC head Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin. According to the general, the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson last week is a clear signal that Ukraine is not weaker than the aggressor.

“At the beginning of this conflict on February 24, few of us had any hope that Ukraine would be able to fight effectively, and now for the ninth month it has been fighting the Russians, and so effectively that in fact, in a fairly wide area, the Ukrainian army has switched to effective offensive actions, he noted. — The capture of Kherson by the Ukrainians is not only a propaganda, but also a military success, which, of course,
will inspire a different, stronger fighting spirit among the soldiers, people and Ukrainian society.”

According to him, withdrawal (from a military point of view) can be forced or deliberate. The first, as the name suggests, is more likely when all other options for stopping the advance of the enemy’s superior forces have been exhausted, and further fighting in the area itself would threaten with hard-to-foresee consequences.

“In this situation, when the advantage threatened to defeat the army on the right bank of the Dnieper, a skilful retreat must be considered a success, not a defeat. Here, given the information we have, that they managed to transfer to the left bank of the Dnieper a decisive, if not the entire part of this grouping, with a larger amount of combat equipment, must be considered a skillful and effective maneuver , i.e. exit from the attack of the prevailing Ukrainian forces”he added.

According to the general, this maneuver further shows that the Russians have no advantage in this direction.

“For the Russians themselves, in my opinion, this is a humiliation”emphasized General Bronovich and added that the situation in Kherson is a turning point from the point of view of the attitude towards the Russian president of his closest entourage.

It turns out that it is no longer Putin, but certain people from his entourage, so-called hard ideologues, among whom Dugin and one of the active propagandists of the nightingales, are more militant than even the master of the Kremlin himself.

Earlier, the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko noted that the occupiers had fled to the left bank of the Dnieper because their command and support systems had collapsed. According to him, in the last three days there was no organized departure, but a panicked escape.
