The occupiers fleeing from the occupied Kherson region are taking Ukrainian prisoners to an unknown direction. This is stated in the announcement of the coalition “Ukraine. Five in the morning.”
According to their data, Ukrainian civilian hostages and prisoners of war detained by Russia in the Kherson region are being taken from their places of detention in an unknown direction.

“The occupying power justifies such movements with the need for ‘evacuation’, but the real reasons for these actions are unknown to the members of the Coalition. The occupation authorities do not give information about the new places of detention to the relatives of the detainees. At the same time, we draw the attention of the Ukrainian and international public to the fact that the transfer of detainees without control by international institutions and observers will most likely lead to the loss by human rights defenders and families of prisoners of the already limited information about the list of persons, places and conditions of detention of illegally detained citizens of Ukraine and Ukrainian servicemen in Russian captivity. In addition, according to the Coalition, a large number of detainees have serious injuries and health problems after brutal torture and prolonged stay in unsuitable premises and inhumane conditions. For many prisoners, transfer without appropriate medical care can cause further suffering or even lead to death.”the message says.
It concerns hundreds of people detained in various places in the Kherson region.
As “FACTS” wrote, in the Kherson region the local population cruelly sabotages any actions of the Russians, merges the positions of the headquarters, undermines key collaborators and military personnel.
