Meanwhile, in the Russian Federation, the army continues to be replenished at the expense of prisoners. According to the available information, during the previous week, about 650 prisoners were employed in the correctional institutions of the Russian Federation and sent to the Rostov region for further training. Medical assistance for the specified category of persons, in case of injury, will be provided exclusively in medical facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In some settlements of the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region, the enemy intensified administrative and police measures. In particular, the entrances to the village of Rubizhne from the directions of Kreminnaya and Varvarovka are closed. The movement of civilians in the city is restricted and filtering measures have been strengthened.
In Mariupol, the occupation authorities plan to deploy special purpose and rapid response units of the Rose Guard with a total number of up to 400 people.
The forced evacuation of the population of Ukraine and the removal of property from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region continues. In particular, on the night of November 16, the occupiers forcibly withdrew the population from Novokievka. In addition, the central city hospital in Nova Kakhovka ceased to function, as all medical equipment and ambulances were stolen and taken in the direction of the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimean Autonomous Republic.
However, as the deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated at the briefing, Brigadier General. Alexey GromovThe armed forces already control the territory near the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula
“We do not rule out that the enemy can increase its efforts in the Zaporozhye and Luhansk directions as well. If we continue his ambitious plans, he may try to carry out offensive actions from the territory of Belarus through the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. But all this is in his plans and was already in our history. We hit back with dignity. At the moment, the enemy is indeed transferring his troops in some directions, but we are also taking appropriate measures– emphasized Gromov.
We recall that earlier the British Foreign Office admitted that the war cannot be ended by “pacifying the aggressor”.
