The Defense Forces of Ukraine, which successfully repelled enemy attacks in Donbass, pushed the enemy out of the settlements of Karmazinovka, Myasozharovka and Nevske in Luhansk Oblast and Novosadovo in Donetsk Oblast.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, noting that the enemy continues to carry out offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiy directions.
Thus, during the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Andrievka, Maryinka and Pervomaiskoye.
The occupiers launched three missile and seven air strikes, launched three missile salvo systems. Civil infrastructure facilities in Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast, Vagledar and Soledar in Donetsk Oblast and the city of Nikolaev were hit by enemy attacks.
“The command of the Russian occupation troops is trying to raise the level of morale and the psychological state of servicemen by sending employees of the Russian Orthodox Church from the Samara region to combat units on the territory of Ukraine. But most of them refuse to travel to the war zone because of the danger and the lack of protective equipment.”added the General Staff.
Also, the Russians continue to actively recruit prisoners both on the territory of Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, a large part of the criminals were released from the correctional colony No. 90 in the city of Kherson.
During the past 24 hours, Defense Forces aviation carried out seventeen strikes. It has been confirmed that thirteen areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment of the enemy and four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems have been destroyed.
Missile troops and artillery struck four checkpoints, ten areas of concentration of manpower, armaments and military equipment, six ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile complex, an area of artillery firing positions and three other important enemy sites.
We remind you that on October 24, Ukrainian anti-aircraft fighters shot down two enemy Ka-52 attack helicopters in the Kherson region within half an hour.
