Stock up on water, power banks and patience: Ukrenergo warns of emergency shutdowns across Ukraine

On Tuesday, November 16, following massive lightning strikes on critical infrastructure, hourly blackout schedules as well as emergency outages were implemented across Ukraine.

“The massive missile strikes on the energy infrastructure on November 15 and the cold weather further complicated the situation in the energy system. So please understand the outages. Please prepare for the increased time of power cut: make the necessary reserve of water in advance, charge devices and power banks to stay in touch with loved ones.”– warns “Ukrenergo”.

It is noted that the restriction is a necessary measure to preserve the stability of the energy system after the sixth targeted rocket attack by the Rashists on energy facilities.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, addressing the citizens, noted that repairmen are making every effort to restore the power supply and called on Ukrainians to be a little patient.
