On the night of Sunday, November 13, the Russian occupiers once again shelled the Zaporozhye region. One of the rockets fired fell in Zaporozhye itself.
This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA Alexander Starukh.
“The enemy continues to terrorize the civilian population of the area with night shelling. At 2 o’clock in the morning, the Russians shelled one of the villages of the Zaporozhye district with the help of anti-aircraft guns.the message says.
According to him, power lines, residential buildings, cars were damaged. Fortunately, people were unharmed.
“Until this morning, the special services were engaged in the destruction of parts of a rocket with cluster munitions shot down by our soldiers, which fell in one of the regions of Zaporozhye”– added Starukh.
After a few hours, the head of the OVA added that the operation to remove the remains of the rocket was finished in a hurry.
“This incident could have had unforeseen consequences, as the enemy shell contained cartridges that suddenly exploded. Therefore, the residents of six nearby houses had to be temporarily evacuated to safe places. The operation to collect and remove the remains of the rocket continued through the night and into the morning.– wrote the head of the region, showing a video of a special operation of rescue sappers.
He also thanked everyone who participated in this operation.
