For the third time since the beginning of October, in Trostyanka, Vinnytsia region, a military man is sent on his last journey. 47-year-old Sergiy Kamishni died in battle in the Nikolaev region during artillery fire.
“He never looked for easy ways. He always went straight ahead, but on the right path. That’s why they respected him. He successfully completed his military service in the armed forces of Ukraine. Because of his sincere heart, infallibility and “golden” hands, he enjoyed authority and respect in the former grain processing enterprise. He and his wife have been happily married for over twenty-five years. Radov’s son Maxim and two grandchildren. Sergei Mikhailovich loved them very much. And it seems that he lives and lives, but life presented its own tests.
In 2015-16, the man was mobilized in the area of the anti-terrorist operation. This year spent in Donbas tempered his already strong character even more. He somehow understood life in a different way. After demobilization, he set to work with all his zeal, as if he was in a hurry to live, – informed by the settlement territorial community Trostyanets. — The day after the full-scale invasion of the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine, he was mobilized to the front. Sergeant Kamishni, already battle-tested, was sent with his compatriots to the Nikolaev region, where the enemy was advancing at breakneck speed. Here he bravely fights for every piece of land. The commander of the car – the commander of a branch of one of the military formations – made every effort to make his subordinates, especially those who had not yet smelled gunpowder, feel the attention. He was a good mentor, he took care of everyone. I couldn’t do it alone.”
Relatives and friends said goodbye to the hero at the rural cemetery under volleys of fire and the sounds of the national anthem of Ukraine.
