Shevchenko and two other suspects were notified of the suspicion in early October with a special warrant, as the whereabouts of these individuals were unknown. All the suspects did not appear to the investigator, which is why they were declared wanted.

We remind you that Kiril Shevchenko resigned from the post of head of the National Bank on October 4. He motivated his decision with his health condition. Information appeared in the media that the former chief banker of Ukraine had gone abroad for treatment. Since October 7, the NBU has been headed by Andrii Pishniy.
