“Yeti-piranhas” from Veliky Novgorod won the floorball tournament “Russian Autumn” – Vestnik “Novgorod” Veliky Novgorod

The Piranha Yeti team, led by coaches Oleg Kuznetsov and Yaroslav Isakov, returned home to Veliky Novgorod with victory. Novgorodians won the all-Russian floorball tournament “Russian Autumn” in Nizhny Novgorod by age.

In the final, our competitors defeated last year’s winner from Kazan. Novgorodians overall won 6 victories in 6 games with a final goal difference of 37:16.
The best players of the tournament at their age were Novgorod goalkeeper Yevgeny Varlamov and striker Oleg Kuznetsov.

A total of 14 teams participated in the tournament – 2 from Nizhny Novgorod, 2 from Nizhny Novgorod region, 3 from Severodvinsk, 3 from Tatarstan, one team each from Arkhangelsk, Novy Urengoy, Anapa and Veliky Novgorod.

The portal of the Veliky Novgorod administration indicates the full composition of the national team: Ruslan Zhirunov – captain (Eureka gymnasium), Oleg Kuznetsov (Novoskul gymnasium), Ivan Kalinov, Igor Pismensky, Muso Dodov (school No. 23), Vladimir Borisov ( school number 2), Leonid Efimov, Nikita Ivanov, Yevgeny Varlamov (school number 37), Kirill Rybnikov (school number 18) and Svyatoslav Kiryushkin (school number 291, St. Petersburg).
