We continue to introduce you to the heroes of the special operation “Z” – the participants in the military operations in Donbas. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat tasks. Their determination, perseverance and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the militia units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics are highly appreciated.
Our heroes foiled the attacks and prevented the nationalist counter-offensive, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for praise and rewards. The military personnel are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbas and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“You go to defeat the enemy – multiply the troops, empty the posts, remove the communications. After defeating the enemy, renew according to the circumstances, but bring him to crushing, “said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he warned his soldiers: “The uncut forest grows again!”

“The motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces was faced with the task of liberating one of the settlements from the armed formations of the Ukrainian nationalists. The artillery battery, which included an artillery team under the command of Sergeant Suren Movsisyan, provided artillery support to the advancing motorized riflemen. During the offensive, Suren led the work of the artillery crew in the fire destruction of fighters located in fortified positions on the outskirts of the city, providing continuous and accurate fire along the indicated coordinates.
With targeted fire, the artillery team under the command of Sergeant Movsisyan destroyed the ammunition warehouse and the enemy’s manpower. Artillery strikes on the enemy’s defensive lines significantly weakened the fighting orders of the nationalists, which allowed the Russian motorized riflemen to develop the offensive, break through the enemy’s defenses and liberate the settlement.

“The battalion tactical group, which included Senior Lieutenant Vadim Chebotareva, commanding a platoon of a reactive artillery battery, was tasked with entrenching in an area and organizing a defense. The nationalists, seeking to regain control of the lost positions, advanced to build a passage through the tank for a subsequent attack on the positions of the Russian units. Assessing the situation, Vadim immediately deployed the position calculation and continued to fire at the enemy positions. Acting bravely and decisively, despite the return fire of the fighters, the platoon under the command of Vadim Chebotarev destroyed the combat equipment and manpower of the enemy. Thanks to the professionalism and well-coordinated actions of Senior Lieutenant Chebotaryov and his subordinates, the enemy, who suffered significant losses, gave up trying to return the area and was thrown back to their original positions.
RESCUE UNDER FIRE OF 12 WOUNDED FIGHTERS

“During the period of the special military operation, in the conditions of constant shelling by Ukrainian nationalists, the head of the platoon for communication equipment, senior officer Sergey Korsunov, performed combat tasks of organizing continuous communication in the interest of the battalion-tactical group of the Russian Armed Forces. The detachment, in which Sergei and his subordinates provided communication, had the task of liberating a strategically important settlement from the armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists. During the march to the task area, the BTGr column was subjected to mortar fire, as a result of which several units of transport equipment moving behind the communication vehicle of Senior Officer Korsunov were disabled. Sergei, in the conditions of continuous fire, showing courage and selflessness, immediately evacuated 12 wounded servicemen in his car and took them to a shelter, thereby saving their lives. Thanks to the professionalism, efficiency and confident actions of Senior Officer Sergey Korsunov, we managed to save the lives of Russian servicemen.
