The governor demanded that all the roads of the regional center be cleaned according to one standard – Soviet Sakhalin

This will allow to maintain the same level of cleanliness in the capital of the island, regardless of whose road sections – the municipality or the region. Valery Limarenko gave the relevant instruction to the regional Ministry of Transport during the working meeting.

– Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk is one of the cleanest cities. This is the result of a large complex work carried out by us in recent years. However, due to differences in street cleaning standards, some roads are not cleaned well enough. It is unacceptable. It is necessary to immediately correct the documentation and start working in a new way. Everywhere should be equally clean, – stressed the governor Valery Limarenko.

According to Transport Minister Valery Spichenko, municipal and regional standards differ significantly. This is due to the fact that a large part of the regional roads are located outside the city limits and do not require such a number of operations. For example, municipal roads are cleaned with equipment 30 times a month, regional roads – 10 times.

– By the end of the week, we will make all the necessary changes in the regional standard. At the same time, we will intensify work on some roads right now. These are, first of all, these sites, which are the face of the regional center, – said Valery Spichenko.

Also during the seminar, the issue of the inadmissibility of removing dirt from construction sites on roads was raised. The sections of the roads near the airport complex under construction and the southern part of Mira Blvd., which were taken under special control on behalf of the governor, were discussed.

Additional vehicles will be allocated to clean the roads, and the wheels of the heavy equipment will be washed mainly at the construction sites. In addition, until November 30, the intersections to the soil areas will be filled with gravel, the press service of the regional administration reports.
