The educational center “Yuriy Bashmet – to the young talents of Russia” continues to work in the Murmansk region. Talented children and youth have the opportunity to communicate with professionals, understand the secrets of performing arts and receive individual recommendations from leading Russian teachers without leaving the region.
The first series of master classes of the autumn session of the project opened in October. For a month, the leading artists of Moscow and St. Petersburg worked with young talents: Leonid Drutin, Denis Penyugin, Ksenia Bashmet, Anna Sokolova, Dmitry Voronin. Students and teachers from children’s art schools and music schools from Severomorsk, Apatity, Zaozersk, Kandalaksha, Kirovsk, Kovdor, Kola, the city of Polarnye zori, Murmansk, Snezhnogorsk, Polarny, as well as students from the Murmansk College of Arts took part in the master classes. The classes were held on the grounds of the Children’s Art School in the city of Polar Dawns, the Murmansk Regional Philharmonic and the Murmansk College of Arts.
We remind you that the unique project was launched in the Arctic in January 2022. Ten leading Russian musicians held 21 master classes for more than 400 pupils, students and teachers from children’s art schools, music schools in the region and an art college. As part of the autumn session, the classes will continue in November-December: young musicians from the Arctic will meet six artists from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
