We continue to get acquainted with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – the participants in the military actions in Donbas. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat tasks. Their determination, perseverance and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics are highly valued.
Our heroes foiled the attacks and prevented the nationalist counter-offensive, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for praise and rewards. The military personnel are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbas and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“They do not take cities by standing, they fight with skill, not numbers, agreement comes from skill,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he repeated: “One minute decides the outcome of the battle, one hour – the success of the campaign, one day – the fate of the empire.”

“A column of the Russian armed forces moving towards the task area was attacked by Ukrainian nationalists, supported by enemy artillery and mortars. Being under fire, risking his life, Ivan pulled the complex control room out of the fire and did not allow the destruction of the communication equipment. In a rapidly changing situation, he ensured stable communication in the column and with the high command, which made it possible to organize defense, competently coordinate forces in battle and repel the attack of fighters.

“The battalion-tactical group of Russian servicemen, including the detachment commander Sergeant Dmitry Razinkin, was given the task of organizing the defense on the outskirts of one of the settlements liberated by the Ukrainian nationalists. The armed fighters, seeking to regain control of the positions lost during the battles with the armed forces of the Russian Federation, repeatedly tried to break through the defense lines and take control of the village. Having established himself in the combat formations organized in one of the defense zones, Sergeant Razinkin, together with his subordinates, repelling the attacks of the nationalists, inflicted significant damage on the erupting fighters.
As a result of the brave and selfless actions of Sergeant Razinkin, as well as the well-coordinated actions of his squad, the defending Russian military held off the advance of the militants and held the defense until reinforcements arrived, after which they launched a counteroffensive and defeated the enemy.
