Telephone conversations were held between the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, and the Minister of Defense of the French Republic, Sebastien Lecorneau.
The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the colleagues discussed the situation in Ukraine, which has a steady trend towards further, uncontrolled escalation.
“Army General Sergei Shoigu conveyed to his French counterpart his concerns about possible provocations by Ukraine with the use of a ‘dirty bomb,'” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
It should be noted that information emerged that, on the advice of Western curators, Kyiv ordered the production of a “dirty bomb” in order to carry out a provocation.
“The management of the Eastern Mining and Enrichment Combine, located in the town of Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk Region, as well as the Kyiv Nuclear Research Institute, were tasked with making the ‘dirty bomb’ itself.” Work on it is at the final stage. The purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction,” sources from a number of media reported.
The “dirty bomb” in Ukraine is being prepared from a high explosive charge and radioactive materials from nuclear power plants. It can serve for radioactive contamination of large areas.
We recall that on October 21, 2022, Sergei Shoigu held talks with the United States Defense Minister Lloyd Austin. They also discussed current international security issues, including the situation in Ukraine.
