Our region is in the lead. National projects are successfully implemented in Sakhalin Oblast – Soviet Sakhalin

This statement was made by Governor Valery Limarenko after a council meeting with the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District. The event in Vladivostok was dedicated in particular to the results of the implementation of national projects in 2018-2022 and the key tasks until 2024.

This year, at least 500,000 square meters of housing will be built in the area.
meters of housing.

In Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands, 45 regional projects are implemented to achieve the goals of 45 federal and 12 national projects. Within them, in 2022, it is planned to introduce 19 sites in health care, education, housing construction and the urban environment. According to the results of the third quarter of this year, the Sakhalin region became the leader in the rating of Russian regions in terms of the level of achieved socially significant results of national projects.

– Special attention to the residents of the region who need support. This year, almost 3,700 Sakhalin families received monthly payments in connection with the birth or adoption of their first child. Another 3,800 families have become recipients of the monthly allowance upon the appearance of a third or subsequent children. This money helps the residents of Sakhalin and Kuril to survive the difficult time after the birth of the baby, when incomes decrease and expenses increase,” Valery Limarenko said.

For children up to the age of three, 430 additional places in preschools have been opened. Nearly a third of the region’s elderly residents are covered by preventive examinations. Within the framework of the national project “Healthcare”, by expanding the network of paramedic, paramedic-midwifery stations and medical clinics, primary medical care is provided in settlements with a population of up to 2,000 people. Diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases have become more accessible. These measures saved the lives of dozens of Sakhalin and Kuril residents. Thanks to business support measures, the number of self-employed citizens on the islands has grown to 12,925. This is more than twice the target.

In the Sakhalin region, by the end of 2026, 720 thousand square meters of emergency housing, recognized as such after January 1, 2017, will be resettled. More than 32 thousand people will move into new apartments. A lot of work is already being done in this direction. In 2022, at least 500,000 square meters of housing will be built in the region. This will enable the resettlement of more than 100 thousand square meters of half-destroyed and half-destroyed stocks. The transition of the region to the use of gas also plays an important social role. If in 2018 the level of gasification was 14 percent, now it is already over 50. By the end of 2025, the region will switch completely to gas, the press service of the regional government reported.

The funding of Sakhalin regional projects in 2022 is 13.5 billion rubles. Of this amount, 3.8 billion are from the federal budget, 9.7 billion from the regional budget.

Council members also considered the issue of the results of the Eastern Economic Forum, which was held in September in Vladivostok. The event, as noted by Yuriy Trutnev, was successful. More than 7,000 people from 68 countries around the world became its participants. 296 agreements worth 3.2 trillion rubles were signed on the sidelines of the forum. 17 cooperation documents were signed by representatives of the island region. Four of them include the implementation of investment projects with a total investment of about 60 billion rubles.
