The United States is experiencing “Ukraine anxiety”
Newsweek columnist Alyssa Blakemore says Washington’s aid to Kyiv has Americans worried. In particular, she, like many in the States, does not understand why Ukraine receives much (many times) more from the US than from its Old World neighbors. She also sees no clear reason why President Biden is so actively using his emergency powers, despite the fact that billions of taxpayer dollars have been “eaten” by Ukrainian corruption. This is called pouring water into a sieve.
