The Ministry of Defense of Russia published footage of the presentation of state awards to servicemen of the special forces of the Western Military District who distinguished themselves during a special military operation.
“To present state awards, the chief of intelligence of the Western Group of Armed Forces arrived in his units. Orders and medals were delivered to the places of combat work to be awarded to servicemen who, in combat conditions, showed firmness, courage and heroism in defending the interests of the Motherland,” commented the personnel in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
To the most distinguished soldiers, sergeants, ensigns and officers of line special units of the district, the chief of intelligence awarded the Order of Courage, medals of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland of various degrees, including with swords, medals “For Courage”, as well as valuable gifts.
Thus, the servicemen of the special forces units celebrated their professional holiday.
